Being a parent is a never-ending job for those moms and dads who realize that the tasks of today will have an effect on the tasks of many tomorrows. It starts from the moment their child is born. Their goal is to give only the best of the things that will matter in the long run. Unfortunately, in order to meet that goal, these parents have had to start paying more attention to the foods their children are eating.
In the past, no one thought twice about feeding their children the foods purchased at the local grocery store. Nowadays, the foods sold in these stores could contain pesticides, growth hormones, artificial fertilizers and GMO, or genetically modified organisms. None of these sound appropriate for inclusion in the diet of an infant or toddler, and none of these are.
More and more concerned parents have ceased buying the “regular” grocery store produce, and have instead turned to using only organic fruits, vegetables and meats. There is proof that the chemicals that can be found in grocery store foods that are not certified organic can cause mental problems, bodily impairments, and different types of nervous reactions. Once this information was released to the public, many shoppers started to buy organic meats, fruits and vegetables on a regular basis, especially if they had infants or small children at home.
